Jilin Association at 2026 Hometown Cup Table Tennis Challenge

The 2026 "Hometown Cup Table Tennis Challenge" has concluded! This two-day tournament featured athletes from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. Table tennis is not only a sport but also an important bridge connecting hometown bonds and fostering friendships.

Under the organization of Sports Minister Li Yue and led by Brother Li Youguo, the Canada Jilin Association fielded a 10-member team:
Men's Singles: Sun Jin, Beijixing, Liu Yu, Ding Hui, Tiger, Wutuo Bang, Liu Dali
Women's Singles: Feng, Sun Qi
Men's Doubles: Beijixing/Wutuo Bang, Liu Dali/Ding Hui
Mixed Doubles: Liu Yu/Sun Qi, Steven/Feng

Bonds Endure: 2026 Canada Jilin Spring Festival Gala & Appreciation Event Concludes Successfully

The 2026 Spring Festival Gala appreciation event concluded successfully. Five associations jointly presented a cultural feast, with wonderful moments capturing hometown feelings, upgraded interactions and laughter, gathering strength for the Year of the Horse.

Jilin Community Culinary Workshop

Invited the Dean of Humber College's Hospitality Program to provide culinary training for senior Jilin community members. Four sessions were held where seniors learned cooking methods and enjoyed the joy of creating delicious food together.

Jilin Association Senior Photography Exhibition

Invited elderly neighbors, their families and friends, and members of all ages from the Jilin Association to attend the final exhibition. Best photos were selected for each participant and compiled into a photo album, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

Discover the Beauty of Canada Through the Lens Photography Workshop

Designed to promote volunteerism, mentorship, and community engagement among seniors in North York and Richmond Hill, aligning with national priorities for healthy aging. Through lifelong learning opportunities and social engagement, the program aims to improve seniors' health, well-being, and social inclusion, bridge generational gaps, and foster harmonious communities. Provided 80 new immigrant seniors with the opportunity to learn photography skills, enhance social participation and inclusion, and help prevent early-stage dementia.
